This means only the following individuals may secure a certified copy of a birth certificate after filling out the forms, paying the appropriate fees, and providing the necessary legal documents and identification:

The person named on the record (registrant) if at least 18 years old

The parent/s named on the birth certificate

The legal guardian or legal representative of the individuals named
